RC Car Summer Camp
This one-week camp is designed to spark interest in the automotive industry, offering real world learning as participants build and race 1/10 scale RC cars from boxed kits supplied by Superstition Hobbies, learning the fundamentals of drivetrains, gearing, and routine maintenance.

Lady Pathfinders Basketball Camp
Get ready to level up your game this summer! The ALA Lady Pathfinders are hosting an intensive basketball camp designed to sharpen your skills and improve your on-court IQ.
Camp Details
Dates: June 8 – June 11
Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: ALA Applied Tech Gym
Cost: $75 per student (includes a camp T-shirt)
Our Essential Focus
The camp provides a comprehensive training environment featuring guest appearances and a curriculum focused on
Technical Skills: Advanced ball-handling drills and shooting mechanics.
Defense & Conditioning: Proper defensive positioning and athletic conditioning standards.
Strategic Play: Understanding game play ideals and offensive/defensive flows.

ALA Applied Technologies Jr. High Robotics Summer Camp
Think smart and build smarter this summer at the ALA Applied Technologies Jr. High Robotics Camp! This two-week program is designed to give incoming 7th and 8th graders a head start on the competitive robotics season.
Camp Overview
Dates: Monday – Friday, June 1st – June 12th.
Time: 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM.
Location: ALA Applied Technologies, Rooms D-110/D-111.
Eligibility: Open to students in Grades 7–8.
What We'll Cover
Our curriculum focuses on the essential skills needed for the upcoming 2026-2027 VEX IQ Season:
Bot-Building Clinic: Hands-on experience in assembling and optimizing your robot.
Engineering Notebook Clinic: Mastering the documentation process required for competition excellence.
Research and Design: Learning the fundamentals of the engineering design cycle to solve complex challenges.
