Automotive Academy Summer Camp

Automotive Academy Summer Camp Lets Students Build and Race RC Cars

ALA Applied Technologies is bringing hands-on automotive learning to students this summer with its 2nd Annual Automotive Academy Summer Camp. Open to kids ages 11–14, the camp gives participants the chance to build and race 1/10 scale RC cars while learning about automotive suspension, steering, brakes, and electricity.

Families can choose from two camp weeks: June 1–5 or June 8–12. Each session runs from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with light snacks provided. Students will receive a camp T-shirt, and family and friends are welcome to attend Friday race days.

Spots are limited. For more information, contact Automotive Program Coordinator Erik Lambson at elambson@alaschools.org.
