On Friday, January 9, 2026, students in the ALA Applied Technologies Military Academy welcomed a special guest speaker, retired U.S. Air Force pararescueman Jonathan Harmon.

Harmon shared firsthand insights from his military career, including his role in the recovery and reintegration of Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell (Lone Survivor) following the events of Operation Red Wings. His presentation gave students a powerful look into the realities of service, leadership, and resilience under pressure.
